Many months passed before the first moyha product went on sale. It was an intense and exciting time for us. Today we can safely say that we succeeded and our passion became our job. Are you curious how it all started? Here is our story. We hope that you will find inspiration in it to start making your own dreams come true.

How did it start?

The idea for our women's business was born five years ago in a sushi restaurant in Gdansk. We both like to act quickly, so it didn't take us long to start putting the plan into action. The first month was intensive work on creating a brand and thinking about elements such as name, domain, image and strategy.

Then came long months of work on the moyha assortment – ​​from the very beginning we wanted to work on our own and on our own terms, so we toured sewing factories, factories, knitwear factories, tailoring workshops and manufacturers of wool, knitwear, fabrics and leather. Why? In search of people and materials who would make our ideas come true. In November 2016, moyha finally came to the world and began gaining its first customers.

From design to shipping

From the very beginning we have focused on independence, that is why we do everything ourselves : we design, order knitwear, threads and accessories necessary for production, and we also try on, style, measure and test. We laugh that although there are only two of us, each of us holds several positions in the company.

We are designers, buyers, salespeople, stylists, and specialists in marketing, logistics, accounting, and inventory management. We also handle orders, shipping, and consulting (by the way, you can ask us anything – we’ll be happy to help you choose the perfect product).


We design our collections ourselves, perfecting every detail : label, sewing, zipper, button, seam and other elements. We also take care to create home textiles from good quality materials. We avoid synthetic fabrics that are harmful to the environment and health, and instead we focus on natural materials such as wood, leather, wool or cotton .

Why moyha?

The company name is the first thing a customer encounters. We wanted our women's business to have a nice and cozy feel, so coming up with the name took us a lot of time. Magda knew one thing - she wanted the name to include the letter "m", which has always evoked pleasant feelings in her. " Maybe moyha?" - one of us asked. And so it happened. We were relieved that this word had a clean slate, meaning it didn't exist in any language and there was no other brand that stood behind it. You can't even imagine how hard it is to find a word like that! But when you finally find it, you don't let it go.

How was our logo created?

We wanted the moyha logo to be minimalistic, but also convey a certain message. That's why it was included equal sign – two parallel lines with something more behind them.


Balance is the common denominator of our lives and the brand we create. We are guided by it at every step, which is visible in the simple design of products, good quality, subdued colors and minimalist forms. And all this in harmony with nature, in accordance with our message simply good .

To maintain balance, we create moyha on our own terms: we don't rush, we don't organize sales, we don't wait for Black Friday and we appreciate the fact that we can set the rules of the game ourselves.


Working at moyha is an important part of our lives, which is why we want to create a brand that is in harmony with ourselves. We used to work in large corporations operating in the fashion industry, but it didn't bring us satisfaction. In such an environment, you have to learn to compromise and abandon your dreams in favor of the rules imposed from above. Today, we stay away from the pursuit of corporate results, unhealthy competition and working beyond your strength.

For some, full-time employment is something that provides stability. In our case, it was completely different. Freedom, balance and a sense of security were only given to us by our own business. Although we do not work from 8 to 15, we have something that no job can provide us with: happiness, satisfaction and the opportunity to fulfill our dreams.


Balance is also a reflection of our personalities. We are different, which is why we complement each other so well. From hair color to temperament, each of us has traits that the other does not, and this allows us to understand our clients' needs much better.

If you buy our products, know that they were designed, purchased, planned and packaged by us. Moyha is not a brand whose success is achieved by a team of people. Under the name moyha there are two girls from the Tri-City , fascinated by natural textiles and in love with the work they are lucky to do. And so we think: it's probably nice to know where and from whom you buy, isn't it? :)


We recently got a slightly bigger female team, which means our company is constantly growing. Why is our team all female? Because moyha is a woman ! And although the brand's target group is primarily women, we design for everyone who cares about arranging beautiful, harmonious and cozy interiors.
