Polyester down pillow insert – what makes it stand out?
Polyester down, also known as artificial down, is a pillow filling that is becoming increasingly popular among users and is effectively replacing silicone ball inserts. Both fillings are made of polyester fibers coated with silicone. Ball manufacturers mechanically shape the fibers and then twist them along their entire length. As a result, we get fluffy and springy pillow inserts. Although the ball insert is cheaper, it loses its properties with use and requires regular replacement.

Down is different! Polyester down is a combed fiber that is devoid of the curl characteristic of a ball. Fluffy down therefore does not clump into groups and is resistant to long-term use, bending and deformation. Thanks to its unique properties, polyester down filling can be found not only in pillows, but also in plushies, quilts, armchairs and pet beds.
