While bedding manufacturers are competing to create more and more inventive patterns, at moyha we have been faithful to the mono version from the very beginning. Single-colour bedding is our favourite, which does not mean that we lack imagination. Quite the opposite! We regularly supplement our collection with new colours and focus on something more than just looks – tasteful details, cosiness, comfort, easy care and good sleep. In today's post, we have gathered all the advantages of plain bedding that will work well in any bedroom arrangement.
Single-color bedding and its advantages
Unlike the living room, which we often arrange with roommates and guests in mind, the bedroom arrangement has a more intimate character. However, this does not mean that you can allow yourself to be mediocre. After all, it is a place where you indulge in blissful laziness and escape from excess stimuli. It is therefore worth taking care of the design and quality of the bedding, which will become your safe haven from all the sorrows of this world. For this purpose, plain, single-colored bedding will work best. Why?
-
Modern character – because single-colour bedding is universal and timeless, it fits in perfectly with the latest trends. It is completely different with prints, which quickly get boring, go out of fashion and become outdated.
-
Possibility of combining with other textiles - white, gray or anthracite bedding can be combined with a bedspread, blanket or pillows in any shade. Choosing single-color bedding in a subdued color, you can easily choose accessories without worrying about a mismatch.
-
Perfect for any arrangement – smooth bedding goes with everything, so you can arrange your bedroom in Scandinavian, loft, boho, minimalist, Provencal, glamour or vintage style.
-
A backdrop for accessories – single-colour bedding does not impose the style of the bedroom with its pattern, so you can have fun with accessories and decide, for example, on a patterned wallpaper or curtain.
-
Nothing to hide – the pattern very often hides material flaws, which are only visible up close. When choosing smooth bedding, everything is served on a plate, so there is no room for imperfections.
-
Hotel elegance – do you want to create a bedroom like from a 5-star hotel? Go for single-color (preferably white) bedding that looks elegant, clean and neat.
-
Escape from excess stimuli - the outside world bombards us with tons of information, advertisements and images every day, so your bedroom should be a place where you can relax. Smooth bedding, without unnecessary prints, not only looks great, but also allows you to cut yourself off from excess stimuli.
Let yourself be carried away by the party!
In the moyha collection you will find classic white bedding, as well as products in white, grey and anthracite melange. What exactly is melange? We really like the definition that melange is a combination of salt and pepper . In reality, melange fabric is created by mixing multi-coloured fibres, thanks to which we achieve an interesting, non-uniform (though still single) colour. The most popular shade is definitely grey melange, but in our collection you will also find white and anthracite melanges. The name of the yarn comes from the French mélange meaning 'mixture'.
Melange is our own way of creating a pattern – so delicate and subtle that it is almost imperceptible. Melange bedding brings a unique atmosphere to the interior, adding cosiness to the arrangement and making it seem warmer. However, this is not only a visual effect: moyha bedding is as pleasant to the touch as a beloved T-shirt! This is because it is made of delicate cotton knitwear, which is breathable, airy, pleasant to the touch and easy to care for. This applies to both white and melange bedding. We have enriched some products with a small addition of viscose.
Are we against patterns?
Every once in a while someone asks us whether our collection will feature patterned bedding. We also get questions about why we avoid patterns. The lack of prints is a result of our brand's philosophy - it should be simple, natural and simply good . This does not mean that we are against patterns, we simply do not include them in our designs. We want our textiles to match each other and that combining them is not a problem. Moyha's clients know this, and they are aware that the new colour of the bedding will match the bedspread purchased last year, and the soft pillow from the latest collection will harmoniously match the entire arrangement of the bed. We are also fans of patterns appearing in the form of details - heavy curtains with an exotic print or Scandinavian wallpaper with birches placed on the wall at the head of the bed. Thanks to single-colour bedding, you can go a little crazy with accessories and not worry about an excess of patterns in the bedroom.
Lots of sun!
